APPS ANYWHERE
Apps Anywhere is a curated list of software provided by the University. Some are Open Source such as Audacity (audio editor), some are bespoke tools (Universe). Tools such as Adobe Acrobat Pro and Universe will require validation and cloud pager app to launch/run remotely. A very useful set of tools for staff & students.
LINKEDiN LEARNING
LinkedIn Learning is a large library of professional-skills-related videos, courses and entire learning paths created by industry experts. Students and staff members can learn anything from graphic design and programming to leadership and interpersonal skills.
LinkedIn Leaning can be used as a core teaching tool or just a valuable resource for students to learn more useful skills to get them career-ready. There is also a wealth of information for educators to improve their teaching skills with courses on topic like game-based learning, delivering online teaching and more.
The service is available now to all staff and students via single sign on at https://www.linkedin.com/learning/
